During the development of the project "KROPAT" there have been devised advanced steam engine and some other innovative technologies, which have provided the successful elaboration of "any-fuel" compact power station. That power station (named VTES) is capable to work on any combustible fuel, including solid types: wood, pellets, various wastes etc. This capability makes VTES the first-in-the-world small power station which works as a "green" CHP (if runs on biofuel such as wood), because VTES can provide both electricity and heating too.

The KROPAT technologies allow to design not just "power stations" but any other power systems running on solid fuels too. That systems could be: various industrial appliances, pumps, agriculture machines, boats and ships, rail transport, cars and trucks, etc.

To prove the viability of VTES design and KROPAT technologies at all, the prototype of the "home power station" VTES-1 has been built and tested. The test results have demonstrated that prototype can operate on planned working parameters and does run on fully automatic mode. So the VTES design is ready to be adapted for serial production as a home power appliance.
